1957 Chevy 2 Door Hardtop. Gorgeous Turquoise color, No Rust car. The body panels are straight and the gaps are far better than new. Extremely solid car, both top and bottom. This car was restored to be driven and enjoyed, with many modern improvements to safety and performance. But the classic good looks are unmistakable. Door, upper hinged moldings, are in terrific shape. They open and close as designed. The chrome and stainless are great, much of which is new. Engine is a 350 Chevy,with mild cam Edelbrock Aluminum Heads, Holley Carb, Sanderson Headers, Aluminum Radiator, dual exhaust. Trans is a 350 with shift kit, power brakes and steering. Front brakes have been changed to disc. Vintage A/C, that utilizes the original dash control. Interior is like new. Seats,panels, headliner and carpet are like sitting in a new car. Dash and it's bright work are also in great shape, with nothing butchered. Still uses original gauges and they function. Aftermarket Classic looking, AM-FM Cassette Stereo, with trunk mounted 12 disk CD player. The trunk is in great condition as well and sports an original spare tire with size sticker. Weather stripping and glass are all good too. The car sits atop 17" American Racing Polished Torque Thrust Wheels and new Michelin Tires. I have always liked the looks of these 57's, when done right, and this one certainly is. The bottom line on this car is, it was never abused or torn up. It has a boxed frame and one piece bumper, the code say's it was built in St Louis. It must have spent it's life in a great climate and was pampered cause it shows in lots of big and little ways. I acquired the car in a trade for one of my street rods, with the intension of selling it. I am going to enjoy the car while I have it and miss it when it leaves.
