No Reserve!! Bid accordingly, as there is no unrealistic high reserves on this one... This is a cool 1929 Ford Model A Chopped Pick Up Truck project. Two weeks ago this was a complete driver hot rod with a flathead, 1940 juice brakes and a rear banjo rear end. Owner recently swapped them into his 1934 Ford coupe and now offers this solid little PU to a new owner as a rolling project. Has most of the cool components you will need to make for fast completion and should double the value when done. >>This nice roller is still set up for a flatty and the trans adapter is available if this is the direction you want to go, but will need new flex plate. Otherwise if the motor mounts are changed it is ready for a small block Ford power mill. Extra front springs are included in sale if needed for engine height/weight adjustment. Good working components include, nice 1969/70 Ford big block FMX automatic 3 spd tranny with top shifter like a 4 spd. Trans shifts very smooth and is complete with torque converter. Complete and working tri-5 Chevy PU master cylinder and pedal assembly, drive line is in car but will need new rear yoke, nice 1968 Mustang steering box steers this PU very smooth and tight, original gas tank is a working tank and has a working dash fuel gauge, rolling on cool '40 ford rear 16" wheels and Goodyear NOS tall truck tires. Fronts are 15" '42 Ford skinnies with new recapped rubber. All rubber is in excellent condition. BODY>>Very solid cab has been nicely chopped approx. 5" and the roof top filled with new steel. Solid doors with only very minor small thin areas on outer bottoms, some light pinholes in lower cab back that is hard to even notice. Steel framed floor with wood insert panels. Custom built and rolled steel bed and tailgate with wood floor. Working windshield with glass, no side or rear glass. Doors shut but some fit and finishing of the latches will help in tighter fit. New satin black paint and artwork by SNAX from San Diego. FRAME>> 2" x 3" steel custom frame with approx. 14" kick up in rear that lowers the PU nicely. Traditional transverse front and rear springs, with rear ladder bars, split bones and spring forward design up front. Rear end is a cool '49-'50 narrowed locked posi Merc with juice brakes, taken from a vintage sprint car (needs some cleaning up). Driveline include but will need new rear yoke. Up front she has '40 Ford juice hubs and drums but '35 spindles so some parts will be needed if you want working brakes. Other cool Parts>> BLC headlamps and lights (not working), '53 Henry J piston shifter, 1960's short bus seat, '39 Ford truck grille, Mopar radiator, custom bed, artwork by Shaun (SNAX) of San Diego >>NEEDS... Remember, this is a cool PU but needs your skills, time and $ for completion and some fit and finish work! Needs> Brake lines, some front brake components, heims for safety if desired, engine of your choice, tunnel completion after eng/trans choice is made, driveline rear yoke. Ready for your rat rod build or with more fit and finish work can end up a pretty nice hot rod. Most work done and has enough cool parts here to be proud of at any show or event.
