In 1997 Porsche introduced the Boxster convertible. Standard equipment included a mid-engine layout with a 2.5 liter water cooled horizontal 6 cylinder engine. Additional standard equipment included 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, 5-speed manual transmission, 4-wheel independent suspension, power retractable top and automatic climate control. Also standard was an AM/FM cassette stereo and an automatic retracting rear spoiler. Options included on this vehicle are the Sport-Touring Package which includes a 6-disc compact disc changer, cruise control, windstop, onboard computer, alarm, sillplates, chrome exhaust pipe and a large assortment of nephrite green leather interior upgrades. Rear window was replaced in '06. New front tires at 43,273 miles. All Michelin Pilot Sports. New front brakes at 43,724. Big service done at 45,160 included oil change, inspections, battery, plugs, oil filter, air cleaner, wiper blades, wheel alignment, headlight restoration, etc. The eBay listing defaults to automatic transmission and we can't change it.
