This is a 1992 Dodge Club Cab with 27,697 original miles on this bearly broke in Cummins Diesel engine. This truck was bought on 4-23-93 by my mother in her mid 50's and she is now 75 yrs old and has been spending a lot of time in the hospital the last 10 to 12 yrs. and it hasn't been driven very much at all. I received it from my mother about 19 months ago with 16,700 miles on it. I have done a few things to it that needed to be done since it was not used on a regular basis although I drove it around town 3 or 4 times a year when I went to visit her in Texas, I live in Louisiana. I had to put new calipers and brake shoes on the front because they started binding up at times, and I put a new battery and drove it home 8 hrs. back to Louisiana with no problems at all. When I got it home I drove it around a coule a of months and then I put a new set of tires on it and a few months later I put it in the shop and had a profectional paint job on it, and changed the engine belt. I also had the plastic bed liner removed that has been in it since new and had a spray in liner installed. My mother also had a fiberglass Excaliber camper top installed about a week after the truck was purchased so there has never been any standing water in the bed to rust it out like many other trucks this age on the road today. This bed is perfect !!! My mother aslo had a seat cover installed to protect the front seat and I removed it also to show the beautiful cloth red seats with no stains or wear at all !!! They are like new as well as the carpet, dash, and the rest of the interior with jump seats in the rear of the club cab. This Cummins Diesel engine is STRONG and runs and start up like new even in 20 degree weather. The 5 spd. trans. shifts tight and like new also. This truck rides and drives perfect and straight down the road as the day it was bought by my mother. I got approx. 26.2 miles per gallon while driving it home from Texas. This truck has never beeen smoked in. I also have all of the original papers and owners manuels and Temp lic. plate. This Tk. also has had the radio replaced 3 or 4 yrs. after the Tk. was purchased due to the original radio quit working. It now has a am/fm/cassett with a removable face plate for security. It sounds great!!! This Tk. is loaded with the LE pkg offered that year it includes pwr.stearing, pwr. brakes, pwr mirrors, tilt stearing, rear sliding glass, chrome front and rear bumpers, cab cargo light, and wood grain interior trim. This truck has never been in an accident at all and has no visible signs of rust except one small bubble below the rear sliding window. The head liner has started to come loose around the edges from the heat like all trucks this age. There is a small dime size rock chip on the windshield. This is only a 150.00 repair. This was a Texas truck most of its life but now in Louisiana. May have more miles due to still driving it a little. The only reason I am selling it is because I just don't need another vehicle in the driveway to pay insurance on, and maybe someone may get to finally put some miles on it. This Truck with this Cummins engine could rack up about 500,000+ miles with just a little care. Hope someone can appreciate the care this truck has had and enjoy the rare beauty of this Classic.
