1968 Camaro Project This was a running/driving car until about 5 year ago when I disassembled it to replace sheet metal. This is a nearly complete project. Car was originally a 6 cylinder Ralley Green, manual steering, and 4 wheel manual drum brake car. The car is torn down to the uni-body with only the rear-end attached. Sub-frame can be reattached to 3 of the 4 points for transport. Both left and right floor pans and firewall extensions have mostly been installed. I started to butt-weld these rather then overlapping. My intent was to smooth down the welds so you could never tell the pans had been replaced. Body will need the following (at least): · Floor pans finished, seat supports and seat pedestals welded in · Full quarters · Outer wheelhouses · Trunk pan, extensions, and drop-offs · Deck filler panel · Work on the roof around the rear windshield · Tail panel The rocker panels, rear seat pans, inner wheel houses, shock towers, and frame rails (except the very ends) look great. Also a previous owner cut the “Y” or “X” bracing out from behind the rear seat that separates it from the trunk. This will need to be acquired and replaced. The following parts are also included in the auction. I tried to show as many as I could in the pictures: · A Chevy 350 W/Turbo 350 transmission that ran well and shifted well when it was removed 3.5 years ago (I Believe it to be a 2-bolt main from a 74 Chevelle or pick-up) · Deep Ralley Wheels with center caps · A supposed “quick ratio” power steering conversion that includes a rebuilt gear box, pump, new Moog K6582 pitman arm, 2 pulleys, mounting brackets, hoses, and 2 rag joints · Holley Carb—ID “List-1850-3 0171” · Fuel pump · Heater core · Vent control (on/off broke) · Vent fan and box · Gauges · All glass except front windshield · Steering column · Dash pad · Old radiator support with wiring harness · Gas tank with neck (cap didn’t fit well, neck may need to be replaced) · New seat pedestals · Rear wiring harness · Drive shaft · Grill (needs to be replaced)+trim+headlight trim · Header and front valance panels · Headman Headers · Gas + brake pedals · Hood latch + Hinges B&M ratchet shifter · Qtr glass + regulators (bushings/rollers need to be replaced) · Front + rear seats , Some seat belts · Master cylinder · Headlights and retainers · Inner fender to firewall supports · Tail lights Please email me with any question.
