1979 Corvette 350ci L-48 V-8, T-Tops, Dark Green Matallic, Tan Interior L48 engine, Automatic Transmission, Tilt Telescoping Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel, Tan Leather Seating Area and Sheepskins (2004), R12 A/C (operates but won't hold a charge more than a few months). Purchased new 06/09/79, Always Garaged. All front bushings and four shocks replaced in September by Austin Corvette. Also, new stainless steel brake calipers and new brake pads ( 4 wheel disc brakes) less than 2,000 miles ago; new mufflers less than 5,000 miles ago. Good tires. Car can be driven anywhere. Two dings- -scrapped the right rocker panel cover- -scrapped right front corner. The primary reason I am offering this vechicle is I am now a 60 something with a bad hip- -it is painful to get into and out of it (I have driven the car about 50 miles in the last two weeks- -reminded why I have kept it 30 years; IT IS A FUN RIDE). THIS IS PROBABLY THE LAST TIME I WILL LIST THIS VEHICLE FOR AWHILE- -AS A RELIABLE LOW MILAGE SPARE CAR IT IS WORTH THE OPENING BID TO ME. NOTE 02/12/11: Per request I have added 4 interior photos taken within the last 30 minutes (time and date displayed on Garmin GPS 396 which is not part of the sale). I am having hip replacement end of month and would like to sell the Corvette before surgery. The car may be inspected at anytime during the listing: however, if unsold it will not be available for several months.
