2001 FORD ESCAPE XLT - 4WD - VERY GOOD CONDITION: I AM OFFERING A VERY NICE 2001 FORD ESCAPE XLT FOUR WHEEL DRIVE SUV FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION. THE CAR HAS COVERED AN AVERAGE OF JUST OVER 12,000 MILES PER YEAR OVER THE LAST TEN YEARS, FOR A TOTAL OF 125,661 MILES. THIS IS A VERY HIGH DEMAND MODEL DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT IS A FUEL-EFFICIENT SPROT UTILITY VEHICLE. THIS CAR HAS BEEN CARED FOR AND MAINTAINED CONSISTENTLY WHICH IS EVIDENCED NOT ONLY BY THE COSMETIC CONDITION, BUT THE INCREDIBLE PROPER DRIVING MANNERS OF THE CAR. THERE ARE NO VIBRATIONS, HICCUPS, SMOKING, LEAKS, ETC. SIMPLY PUT, THIS IS AS NICE A 2001 ESCAPE AS YOU ARE LIKELY TO FIND. THERE ARE A FEW MINOR FLAWS AS WOULD BE EXPECTED IN ANY TWENTY-FIVE YEAR OLD CAR, BUT, THEY ARE MINOR INCLUDING A SCUFF ON THE RIGHT REAR CORNER OF THE BUMPER. THE CAR HAS A NEW PENNSYLVANIA STATE SAFETY AND EMISSIONS INSPECTION CERTIFICATE GOOD THROUGH OCTOBER, 2011. The short of it is that the car is an excellent runner, with a smooth transmission and plenty of power. From a mechanical standpoint, the car has excellent oil pressure and does not smoke. All electrical components operate as intended. The front tires are new and the rear still have lots of tread remaining. All power accessories operate well. The AC is ice cold and the heat also works appropriately. The car does not overheat. The sixlinder engine will provide all the power you will ever need in an automobile no matter where you are or under any conditions. The car is equipped with the VHS entertainment system with pull down screen. In additioin, the vehicle has the towing package. I would not hesitate driving this car across the country and back! Please note: This vehicle does not have a sunroof or leather upholstery even though ebay's template says it does. Keep in mind that this is not a new vehicle and that it is sold as-is, where-is with no warrantees implied, stated, or otherwise intended. You are bidding to own this vehicle, not to come and look at it after the auction has ended. I encourage bidders to come and see the car if possible. You are welcome to have the car inspected at your expense prior to the conclusion of the auction. Remember, my descriptions are based on my knowledge of the car. I cannot say that it is without flaws. I don't care what car you are looking at, it will have flaws. The balance must be paid within seven days of the end of the auction or upon pick-up of the car, whichever is earlier. The balance of the purchase price may NOT be made by Paypal.
