Hello, up for your consideration today is a 1997 ford ranger xlt regular cab. This is a 2wd with the standard shift 5 speed. This is a fair condtion truck that needs nothing but a new driver!! This truck is my fiances she bought it new in 1997 it had about 2000 miles on it when she bought it, this truck has been well maintained with all of its services regularly. This has the 2.3l 4cyl so its good on gas!!! There was a new altenator and timing belt put on about 120000 miles, the tires are atleast 80 percent, there like new. The truck does not have elec windows nor elec locks, it also does not have cruise control. The body is in good condition, however the paint is really fadded on the hood, see pics and some of the clear coat is starting to peel. the interior is fair its in good condition other then the seats are stained, but think they would clean well if someone would take the time. The truck has a bedliner in the bed, and a ball thats attached to the bumper, it does not have the reese hitch. The truck will have a new battery installed before the winning bidder takes possesion, We bought 2 new vehicles in 2010 and this has been sitting for about 11 months, only driven once a month to keep everything lubricated, etc... therfore the battery has went bad from sitting so I will be buying one this week. New clutch and slave cylinder in janurary of 2007, clutch still is good and feels strong, I think the slave cylinder needs bleed, it feels a little soft when you press down the clutch pedal but still drives and shifts fine.. new water pump was installed about 2 years ago, really havent had many problems with this truck, been a good realiable truck and would be a great buy for anyone looking for a good cheap vehicle, I would not be afraid to drive this truck anywhere..... This truck is being sold as is where is so I encourage all potential buyers to get ahold of me and come and look and test drive the truck for themselfs, There will be no shipping on this truck, buyer must pick up or make other arrangments to have vehicle picked up.
