This truck is running and driveable but I am selling as-is and offer no gaurantees. The truck is now running awesome thanks to Aaron who bought the original truck bed. So what you see is what you get, no extra parts. The alternator is now installed and a brand new battery (with 700 cold cranking amps). The truck starts instantly. 1977 Dodge Powerwagon ClubCab 4x4.When was the last time you saw a 77' ClubCab Powerwagon driving down the street? This is a 3/4 ton truck but one look at the springs and you can see this will haul just about anything. Ontop of that the previous owner installed a Big block 440 that was taken out of a motorhome that only had 1,000 miles on it- the motorhome was used as a mobile classroom at a Catholic school which explains the low miles. But before putting it in the truck he rebuilt the motor using 516 close chambered heads that were ported and polished and an Vodoo cam topped off with an aluminum manifold and a Demon carb ($400 alone). Behind the motor is a 4 speed with a granny low 1st. gear. It also has a Dana 60 rear with a posi and a very rare Dana 60 front. Power steering, Power brakes and 8' flat bed. The Truck itself has been 95% restored. In fact there are only a few things it needs to be perfect. . I hate selling this and I know I will miss it-especially the sound of that big block with headers into duals and then glasspacks that ends just after the cab, but I want to buy a 4x4 full size van to take the family camping. The truck also has a hitch in front and in back. And also it has dual gas tanks. Oh and yes it is Pa. inspected but I'm not sure till when. No International bidders please-no scams. This means when the going gets rough you just keep driving, no hubs to lock in-there is a transfercase lever with "Hi, Hi-lock, N, Low, Low-Lock" but you only need that if you get stuck or need the low range for pulling.On Feb-09-11 at 20:09:18 PST, seller added the following information: For those of you that are novices this truck is fulltime fourwheel drive. All dodges from 1975-79 are. This is the same chassis as the m880 military 1 1/4 ton truck. All new suvs from porsche to mercedes are fulltime. It is the most capable and safe system produced for one simple reason it has a third differental in the transfercae. fourwheel drive without lock splits the load 50-50 on the axles but the brakes all operate independantly it doesn't mater if one brake locks the other three rotate and allow you to steer. In a part time truck when you put it in 4wheel drive and hit the brakes if one brake in front locks all brakes lock and you can't steer. You are riding a sled because locking a rear brake stops the rotation of the front wheels because they are LOCKED TOGETHER.
