1973 BMW 2002 Tii, Sunroof with original (Cold!) working Air This beautiful car is originally from Palm Desert California where the prior owner kept it for over 25 years. Documentation includes all receipts from that owner. After driving it for the last 2 years I decided to bring the car back to the original Tundra green color. The car was striped down, removing all trim, confirming that it was solid and rust free. This professional restoration process included paint, trim, seals, lights, carpets, headliner, gaskets, hoses, tires, belts.....(small split on dash was repaired). The radiator, water pump and starter were also replaced along with a long list of other parts and documentation which will be transferred to the new owner. It also has a 5 speed transmission from a 3 series which makes it great for driving on the highway. This car is a blast to drive and with the A/C and sunroof it's great for warm weather! The car runs very strong, with easy start up and no smoke. (I have not rebuilt the drivetrain). Tundra Green is one of the nicest colors I have ever seen on a 2002 Tii, and agreed to by the judges at the recent 2010 Boston BMW Car Club of America Concours show (see photo below). I will assist the buyer in arranging for transportation.
