1969 Chevrolet C-20 Fleetside Pickup Truck. This is an original, number matching 1969, Chevrolet Pickup. It is almost rust free and the floors, fender wells, and frame are dry and free of rust. This is the last year for the wooden bed strips, and the wood is still in very dry and good condition after 42 years of use. Please look closely at the photos. This truck has been family owned, and well taken care of its entire life. The original color, Maroon/Burgundy, is an unusual paint color, but adds to the overall appearance of the truck. It has the original V8 engine and the original automatic transmission. In addition, the truck has the original am radio and floor mats, with the original owner's manual still in the glovebox. The truck has been protected by "diamond" checkered steel running boards, tailgate edge cover, and comes with a pickup toolbox. The interior is relatively new and in very good condition. I just drove the truck over 100 miles and it runs, shifts, and stops properly. This is a really straight, rust free, truck, but I want to be sure the new owner knows all of the negative issues. 1. There is a dent in the passenger's side of the bed. It is a minor dent and I have taken close up photos to clearly show the damage. This is the only body damage on the truck. 2. The brakes are a little stiff, but work properly. 3. The truck starts easily, but the ignition switch needs attention. 4. There is an after market tape player and radio, along a fire extinguisher that are added "non-original" items. 5. There are also auxiliary gas tanks on both sides, with a switch on the floor on the driver's side. I don't know if this is a negative or a positive. I do know that they are not factory items. All of the gas doors have locks and keys - including the original tank.
