1997 Cadillac Deville. I purchased this car late last summer with intentions of repairing it. It shows normal wear for a 14 yr old car. Not spotless but way to nice to scrap. Upon on bringing it home I put a battery in and got it started which took some effort. My intentions were to drive it down the road to check and see if the transmission worked properly which it did appear to do so. It had a slightly rough idle with light white smoke from the tail pipes. Car drove, shifted and stopped well. The engine got to 230 degrees after about 2 miles of driving at which time it was parked and shut down.Engine oil appears normal, with no signs of comtamination with coolant or such. Transmission Fluid is fair for the mileage but needs changed. Car will need a battery as well. I have repaired several of these with great success. My current schedule isnt allowing me to get to this one and sitting around isnt good for it either. Tires are matched Michelins, but a marginal in condition. CAR WILL HAVE TO BE TRAILERED OR TOWED!! Delivery may be available for a fee to be discussed before bidding. I tried starting the car to move it this week and was unsuccessful but it has been sitting now for over 6 months. Will try to answer any questions to the best of my abilities. NOTE THE CAR IS BEING SOLD AS IS! I can not make any claims to this vehicle because I have never done anything with it except as described above. It does have a clear ohio title. I HOPE THIS DOESNT CREATE ANY ISSUE FOR INTERESTED PARTIES. ALSO ADDED A FEW ADDITIONAL PICTURES AND WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT THE RIGHT FRONT HEADLAMP LENSE IS MISSING AND ON THE REAR BUMPER THE CHROME MOLDING IS OFF , I HAVE IT, IT IS IN THE TRUNK AND SIMPLY NEEDS REATTACHED WITH DOUBLE SIDED TAPE. ALSO PUT A BATTERY IN IT TI CHECK THE MILEAGE AND IT STARTED RIGHT UP, SO I AM NOT SURE WHAT THE STARTING ISSUE WAS PREVIOUSLY OTHER THAN MAYBE I FLOODED IT.
