We've had this car since the summer of 2002, when my husband came home and announced that he had to have it and I couldn't say no. It's been garage-kept since then. Unfortunately, the novelty has worn off, and he hasn't had the patience and perseverance required in the restoration of small British cars! It has a rebuilt 110 horsepower high compression 4 cylinder motor with a 4 speed manual transmission. The exterior color is somewhere between off-white and pale yellow; paint job is less than perfect, and there is a discolored (pale orange) spot on the right edge of the hood, visible in the front views. (Speaking of photos, please disregard the dark spot to the right of center in each picture; my camera lens apparently had a piece of debris on it.) We drove this car for brief in-town outings on occasion, kept up on the yearly inspections required in our state, and my husband commuted 30 minutes each way to/from work when weather permitted. We have never had the car on a longer trip, and it does tend to run hot, so I would have to recommend that the buyer arrange for pickup and transport rather than driving it to its destination. I will accept either PayPal or cash. Overall this is a very solid, clean car which needs to find the right owner to make it spectacular. Suffice it to say that this car has the original, REBUILT 1098cc engine with 6657 miles logged since the rebuild. I don't know the specifics of the rebuild so let's say the engine is basically "stock."
