Classic 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer "Woodie" in rare Spinnaker Blue Metallic No Reserve!!! Thanks for stopping to take a look at my Wagoneer. The pictures pretty much speak for themselves on this classic beauty, but I will tell you the few things they can't. To start let me say that I bought this as a project that I was going to restore to its original condition, and if it hadn't been for an untimely job loss, I would be keeping it. This Wagoneer is in completely original condition. It is not restored, so it should be viewed (and bid on) with the fact that it is 23 years old in mind. With that said, I personally think it is in great shape for a 23 year old vehicle. The hood and both front fenders were repainted due to clear coat peel a few years ago. There is absolutely no accident damage at all! There are a couple places where the clear coat is peeling and needs fixed. I have included pictures of those. The wood grain paneling is in "ok" condition, there are a couple places where it is peeling. I also included a picture of the only "rust" spot I can find. It is just behind the driver's rear tire and is not noticeable at all (I actually had never noticed it until I was cleaning it up to take pictures). This Waggy is about as rust free as you will find. Mechanically she's in great shape. The AMC 360 fires right up and runs nice and smooth. The transmission shifts through all gears smoothly, and the transfer case engages and disengages just like it should. I wouldn't hesitate getting in and driving wherever I needed to go. The Cooper tires are in great shape and don't have many miles on them. Lastly, the tan leather interior is in wonderful shape for it's age. The only things that need attention at all are the tear in the driver's seat, and the carpet on the bottom of the driver's door. That's about all I can think of at this point. The Waggy does have all of them, but I cannot speak to how well they all work. The heat works very well. As far as windows, locks, and AC, I'm not completely sure. I turned the AC on the day I bought it, and it blew cold air through it. It was about 25 degrees outside at the time, but all I was concerned with was that the fan and compressor worked. So, it may need a recharge, but that's about the extent of my knowledge of the AC. I know that my wife rolled down the front passenger window, and it worked just fine. I have also rolled down the rear window, and it works well. The two drivers side, and the passenger rear have not been rolled down since I have owned it. The Waggy is being stored about an hour from where I live in a climate controlled garage and I will try to get there before the auction ends to update this with more concrete info. I apologize for not doing it sooner, but we have had a death in the family and are now stuck in the middle of a blizzard. Lastly, for the ones interested in flying in and driving it back.
