1980 Suzuki RM

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Up for auction with a low reserve is a1980 Suzuki RS175. I have owned this bike for 4 years. This is a rare bike. The plastics are OK. Side covers are from a PE. This bike has parts on it from an RM, TM, RS, PE. The front headlight, (from a PE) works on both HI/LO beams. The rear tail light works. New items include both tires and tubes, handle grips, FMF muffler, carb. from a RM 250 , gripper seat cover. Also included is a RS 175 Assembly and Pre-Delivery Service Manual. This bike will need an upper end in the future, piston is quite noisy. It has good compression and lots of pulling power. All oils have been changed recently. Bike runs great and shifts through all of the gears fine. These are basically a 2 stroke dirt bike that share most parts with the regular RM's. They have a larger gas tank and lights. They used to use these for BAHA's and long distance riding over all terrains. Use it for AHRMA racing, add to your collection, or just ride it. These are very rare with very few of these made and getting harder to find as time goes on. Own a piece of vintage dirt bike history. Always stored inside! Very rarely ridden, but started every few months. I reserve the right to end this auction early because this bike is also for sale locally. I expect payment at pickup or before it is delivered. This bike is sold as is where is with no warranty. It will be sold with a bill of sale. I do not have a title for this. I don't think PA issued them with dirt bikes at the time.
