Vehicle Detail

Here is a nice solid International KB3 pickup I am trying to sell for a friend that started a complete frame off restoration and lost interest due to age. The work was done over aprox. a 10 year period He had a lot of work done professionally at a local restoration shop but was unable to complete the work. He always liked these fine old International trucks, and drove several thru the years. This one was going to be his last truck. Under the hood is the original 214 green diamond 6 cylinder engine. These are a few things he said that were done. Body was removed and the cab and frame was painted inside and out. He had the seat redone. Gas tank cleaned out. Front end rebuilt as needed and it steers good and tight. Brakes were done including resleeving the wheel cylinders, turn drums, new shoes, new wheel bearings on front and rear, new tires, new brake lines, rubber and steel, etc. A new original, factory spec wiring harness was built by Vintage Wiring of Maine. They included wires for turn signals and there is a new turn signal switch and every thing needed to complete the wiring. The engine and dash wiring has already been installed. There is very little left to do with the wiring. Tail lights are not with the truck. Windshield and back glass was replaced but the door glass is missing or cracked. All of the chrome looks to be in place and is good. Engine seems to run good, as for as I know nothing was done to it internally. It ran very good when I drove it into my shop to store for him. The water pump was professionally rebult, as well as the generator and the starter, and the carb was cleaned up. He had the radiator checked out at the shop but was clean. New belt and hoses were installed. The doors shut good with good lines. There are a few minor, very small dents in the driver side door, I think about 3, and a very small amount of bubling in the paint at the very bottom of the drivers side fender near the bead. The truck does not have a bed, He wanted a flat bed on the truck anyway, and the bumper is missing and cannot be found. It needs a tail pipe and muffler. Since I now have the truck stored at my shop, I should be able to answer any questions you may have. I can be reached at 254-770-8515 I have described the truck to the best of my knowledge by what I have seen, and by what I have been told by the owner. If anyone would like to come look at the truck, it would be fine to do so. We would like to be paid with cash or a cashiers check. I am sorry to have to include this, but I WILL NOT TOLORATE ANYONE WHO MAY BE TRYING A SCAM OF ANY KIND. IT WILL NOT WORK, AND YOU WILL BE WASTING YOUR TIME. If I have forgotten anything just email. I may find someone to deliver the vehicle for a fee if its not too far away. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SELL THE TRUCK LOCALLY On Jan-12-11 at 14:35:57 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot to add that the floorboard also is not in the truck, and the mileage may not be correct although that is what the odometer says. On Jan-16-11 at 15:01:43 PST, seller added the following information: If anyone out there knows where, or has a floor pan, I would like to buy one. Either I will include it with the truck if it sells, or keep it with the truck anyway. Thank Everyone... jdcockrill
