Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 1977 Dodge Powerwagon ClubCab 4x4.When was the last time you saw a 77' ClubCab Powerwagon driving down the street? This is a 3/4 ton truck but one look at the springs and you can see this will haul just about anything. Ontop of that the previous owner installed a Big block 440 that was taken out of a motorhome that only had 1,000 miles on it- the motorhome was used as a mobile classroom at a Catholic school which explains the low miles. But before putting it in the truck he rebuilt the motor using 516 close chambered heads that were ported and polished and an RV cam topped off with an aluminum manifold and a Demon carb ($400 alone). Behind the motor is a 4 speed with a granny low 1st. gear. It also has a Dana 60 rear with a posi and a very rare Dana 60 front. Power steering, Power brakes and 8' flat bed. I still have the original 8' factory bed that has almost no rust. The Truck itself has zero rust, it has been 95% restored. In fact there are only a few things it needs to be perfect. First is the alternator, it threw a belt in the fall and rather than just put the belt back on (it was one of the few things that didn't look nice under the hood) I decided to replace the whole alternator with a higher amperage one. But the cold set in before I finnished it. But I will try to get it fixed before the end of the auction-if someone clicks the "Buy-it-now" I will have my local garage finnish off the alternator install. I also have an extra 4 speed tranny, the factory bed and tailgate with "Dodge" stamped in the tailgate as well as the original tail lights and a box of extra parts. I hate selling this and I know I will miss it-especially the sound of that big block with headers into duals and then glasspacks that ends just after the cab, but I want to buy a 4x4 full size van to take the family camping. The truck also has a hitch in front and in back. And also it has dual gas tanks- but the seals right at where the sending unit bolts in on top are leaking and need replaced-but the tanks work and the switch to change between tanks works great. I'm sure I'm forgetting something- so feel free to ask. Oh and yes it is Pa. inspected but I'm not sure till when. No International bidders please-no scams. I will require the buyer to give me there contact information within 48hrs. of the close of the auction. Also I expect a $500 non-refundable deposit via Paypal within 3 days. Full payment will be due within 10 days of the close of the auction. I also reserve the right to end the auction early. On Jan-24-11 at 19:35:19 PST, seller added the following information: **For everyone interested I just put a deposit on a 4x4 van so I need this truck sold to pay for it and what that means is regardless of the reserve at the end of the auction the truck will go to the highest bidder- This is an awesome truck and you will not be disappointed. Thank you. On Jan-26-11 at 19:02:49 PST, seller added the following information: The previous owner of this truck that did the restoration work contacted me and left me know a few things I forgot to mention; hi jim u didnt tell tne people about the custom paint that changes to dark blue an it has a voodoo cam the motor only had 485 miles on it an with them heads compesion ratio is 9.5 to 1.it also has 40series flowmaster mufflers not glasspacks an new floor pans an napa heavy duty clutch an a best pull of 225ft pulling sled the suspention is from a factory 1 ton truck an if the new owner needs the paint info i still have it wish i was still working i wouid bring him back home.give me a call quinton On Jan-29-11 at 23:04:02 PST, seller added the following information:I have the truck scheduled to go in the garage on Wednessday to have the alternator fixed. If it reaches the reserve it will sell, if not then I may relist it with the work done to it.On Feb-01-11 at 20:30:58 PST, seller added the following information:I've been asked about the gas tanks and yes it still has both tanks and they both still work-guage and switch and all. The bidding is only $300 away from my reserve so this will go to the high bidder. But if the reserve is not met I reserve the right to sell the bed seperately.
