Rare- you will not see another truck like this period. It is one of a kind and built to handle anything! It started life as an 88' Suburban (but it has the front end of an 87') then the previous owner (it came from Maine where there are long winters and automechanics get creative) cut the back off making it into a pickup (like a Chevy Avalanche). They welded a rear hatch in place-they did a wonderful job as in some area's you can not see the welds and the rear window goes up and down elctronically. Then they put 1 ton axles under it and made the rear into Dual rear wheels and if you look at the pictures you will see they even welded trusses to the axles. The plow is a power angle and the pump is under the hood bulted to the engine running off a belt. It is very solid-I just had all the body mounts replaced and any rust was cut out and replaced professionally. The rear also has a posi traction in it so this truck goes anywhere especially given how tall it is. I took the truck up over our embankment in the front yard-it was over 3 feet straight up and I did it in 2 wheel drive! My friends Jeep wouldn't even make it in 4wd.! inside it couls use a little TLC. I bought a seat out of a conversion van that folds down into a bed electronically and I have that in the truck for a back seat-but I haven't bolted it down yet. This would make a great plow truck as well as an offroad warrior. I am selling it to be able to get a 4x4 van to go camping with the family. I'm not looking to get rich here-I paid $3700.00 for it plus $1800 for the body mount work and $1400 for Pa. inspection. So I have $6900 into it-but knowing you don't get out of a vehicle what you put into it I have set the reserve at less than half of that. I will require a $500 NON-refundable Deposit via Paypal within 3 days of the close of auction. The remainder to be paid within 10 days unless the buyer works out other arrangements with me.
