Up for sale is this 1999 Seville STS which was broken into and stolen a few months ago. 140k miles, fully loaded, sunroof, leather, heated seats, cd player, rain-sense wipers, etc, zero problems. They couldnt find it after 3 weeks, and my insurance company gave me blue book for it, $6,765 as shown on the kelley blue book website at www.kbb.com I ended up buying another Cadillac for around the same price. Well a few weeks ago, the insurance agent called me, and said they found it on the side street in cleveland, fingerprints all dusted off. They wanted to know if I wanted to buy it back. I figured I'd go see it so maybe i could list it on ebay and make some cash. Mind blowing to me, I went to the lot it was in and started it up. It fired on the first key turn and sounded great. The agent gave us the keys and we gave it a short test drive, It still drove fine, diddnt overheat or anything, shifted smoothly, brakes were still fine, everything. The only problem we could see is the column cover is a little broke by the steering column and cruise control (I pictured this) but the ignition and key and power telescope still work fine. Just the plastic is a little broke. The speedometer doesnt have any check engine lights, but it does have some warnings like check suspension and change brake pads. After that we went into the office and told him we wanted to buy it back if he allowed me to have it towed to a mechanics shop and have a them look at it. He was not surprised. He offered it to me for $2500. I left a $1,000 deposit. I was going to buy it back and put it on eBay to make a few hundred (or keep it as a second car!) but I diddnt get my christmas bonus, and now cannot afford to keep the car. It seems like a really good deal considering what I see them selling for ebay, fully loaded with the power sunroof and everything. Keep it mind it might need some repairs, but we did drive it and it seemed fine. Also, the shop charged me but gave it an inspection and only found an oil pan leak. They let it run for over 2 hours and noticed no overheating. So I had them repair it for a little over $125 with the inspection (they rolled the inspection fee into the repair fee,) and I put in a new battery (another $125) as the old one was completely dead. The receipt from the shop that did the inspection and repairs is at the bottom of the description. So here is what will happen, If you want to buy the car, you can meet me at the insurance office the car is at right now. The agent will allow us to start it up and lot run and drive it if need be. The agency gave me a power of attorney for you to fill out so the title goes directly into your name. After you get the title into your name, you can have it moved or towed any time after that.
