Up for auction is our 1977 Dodge Monaco Hazzard county sheriff car. This was a silver civilian issue car that came out of Georgia. Body is in very good condition. Very solid thruout. Has a 318 with automatic. Car runs and drives good. Little hard to start when cold but fine otherwise. Has small trans leak when setting for long periods of time. Has aftermarket oil pressure gauge. Has lifter that makes noise when first started but goes away quickly. Gets very good gas mileage. We drive this with our General on the interstate at 75 mph and it does great. Paint looks pretty good. We used acrylic enamel for that old school look. Has a few thin spots from buffung but overall looks really good. Trunk, engine compartment, and door jambs have not been sprayed at this time. Car is a work in progress. The light bar is the correct Areodynic and looks and works great. The sheriff decals are the best available laser printed on the market. One layer, NO overlays! They have been placed on magnetic backing so they can be removed anytime. The cb antenna is a magnetic radio shack. Has the correct cop car wheels and hubcaps. Tires are 235/70/15 with about 70% tread. Rear license plate does NOT go with car. Interior is maroon and has not been changed to tan at this time. It is in above average condition with some tears in drivers seat, front arm rest and some cracks in dash. Dash panel is autographed by Sonny Shroyer who played Enis on the show. This is a great little car that gets as much attention as our General. Makes an incredible Display when used with a General.
