Greetings from Redding, Ca.96002 and thanks for looking! Title in hand and Very low reserve. For your consideration is This 1959 Edsel Villager wagon with an extremely straight body except for slight dent in hood. . This car is a Redding, Ca. native... It was sold new here at Don D. Davis Lincoln Mercury. It still has the License plate frames as well as the 1963 Black & yellow plates ! It has been my only car and daily driver since September 2, 2010. It runs and drives good. I have driven it from Redding to the Sacramento airport twice (300 miles round trip each time)!! I have decided that I haven't the time, money or energy to restore this as I intended when I bought it. All 4 hubcaps are very nice! Located in Redding, Ca 96002... on interstate 5 150 miles north of Sacramento and 100 miles south of the Oregon border.Factory colors are snow white and petal yellow. interior is green. Chrome is still nice. The Edsel has recent plugs, wires, cap, rotor, condenser, air filter, brakes, wheel cylinders, brake hoses, master cylinder and power brake booster rebuild, belts, all hoses, generator, starter, Gear shift knob (not installed), radio speaker, radio service, misc bulbs, horn ring retainer, wiper blades (has optional Electric wipers) !! tires, 4 new shocks (rears are NOS Gulf Pleasurizer oil shocks and front are Napa gas shocks). New exhaust from crossover back !!! Sounds great ! single exhaust. Has day & night mirror .I bought dash pad on ebay, it has one hairline crack but is still soft. I put it on the dash but did not clean or armor all it as it should be dyed still. Everything works except for the clock... I never got around to removing and cleaning it. The glass is all good except both window and wing glass in drivers door are cracked BUT COMES WITH GOOD ONES removed from a 59 Edsel at a local auto wrecker (not pictured). The upper passenger side of windshield has a slight wiper scratch that I am told it will polish out. You can see in picture. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS AND EXAMINE PICTURES !! Locally there is an auto wrecker that will sell me the ENTIRE GOOD used floor for 75.00 but I can't cut it out. You would have to. or you can get brand new panels from Carpenter or concourse Ford parts. will need headliner, I have extra boughs if you want to make like original with masonite or on ebay, they have new conversion head liner kits for vinyl. Needs carpet and some upholstery too. has slow power steering leak out the end of the ram but COMES WITH THE RESEAL KIT from Concourse Ford Parts. a few slow leaks here and there but it is 52 years old. key will not lock or unlock doors.. Front end has an A frame bushing starting to go. Has no jack but can get locally. spare is flat. sheet metal below spare is good. just slight surface rust. The engine is a 361 fe block 4v Ford carb. It runs good and smooth. The Tranny is a 3 speed automatic and shifts perfectly. PLEASE EXAMINE PIX & ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING AS SALE IS FINAL...
