I am the original owner of this 2007 Lotus Exige S. I purchased the car in May of 2008 from Lotus of San Antonio (Gonzaba Autoplex). I followed the 1,000 mile break-in recommendations. The car is serviced by Star Motor Cars in Houston, Texas. The car's factory warranty expires May 16, 2011. I have all the records. For some reason, I only have a copy of the window sticker. For the break-in, I drove the car home to Houston from San Antonio on back roads. I did a few Saturday morning drives on back roads south of Houston. And I did a round trip to Van, Texas on back roads. I purchased the car as a track car, so it HAS been driven on the track (I would estimate that accounts for approximately 2,000 of the ~3,700 miles). I keep the car in my garage (it needs to go, so my beloved 911 can go back in), with a battery maintainer attached. VERY hard to see. I didn't know it, but I bought the car this way. I discovered it when giving it a wash the first time. I've seen a couple of others like this in the same spot, leading me to think there was an issue at the factory. 4) The Star Shield (3M like protective covering on front and rear of car) has slightly yellowed with age. Included with the car: 1) All the mods mentioned above 2) The rear view mirror - which I removed as it serves no purpose in an Exige 3) Original screws that were replaced with quarter turn screws 4) All original manuals (including car and factory Alpine radio) 5) Factory tool kit 6) Battery cover (used with factory battery) 7) Front license plate bracket (never installed) 8) Radio face plate case 9) Both sets of original keys and factory cobra alarm remotes 10) Original turn signal bulbs 11) Original screws that were replaced when radar detector bracket was installed 12) Lotus Car Cover 13) Complete records Services performed on the car (Star Motors Houston): 1) 1000 Mile service 2) Reflash of ECU to fix stalling problem 3) Track checks and brake fluid flushes 4) Clutch pedal adjustment 5) Replaced alternator I love my cars and take excellent care of them.
