Vehicle Detail
This is a very fun car to drive after the conversion to a small block.Everything in the drivetrain and cooling system is new and built by myself. Here is a link to a video of the car running and driving. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpXBsNG5Z5kOn Jan-18-11 at 14:30:48 PST, seller added the following information: This is a revision of what has been done to the car. This car had sit in a garage since 1984. I personnally rode in this car when I was 13 years old.Soon after that it was parked. I bought the car 2 years ago and decided to do the v8 conversion. This car has an actual 71829 miles on it. Things that have been done to the car as follows. New fiberglass quarter panel inserts that were epoxyed in and skin coated, rocker panels were cut out and install new metal as needed, replaced missing right front fender with OEM from nissan, front frame rails were cut apart due to rust holes and installed 2x2 box tubing then fishplated and ground smooth, headlight buckets were welded to fenders for smooth look, marker lights from factory were deleted and installed new in custom made aluminum grill, rear were moved to lower quarter panel where the rear bumber used to wrap around, the floor pans were cut out and replaced with new sheet metal and welded in.Installed sound deadning on floors and installed new carpet as well.As for the motor and tranny goes it is a fresh 355 small block chevy,9 to 1 compression withe 72cc heads, performer intake, comp cam that will turn around 6400 RPM without floating the lifters, brand new streetfire distributor,MSD 8.8 wires holders etc.,the radiator is a HOWE 2 row radiator with two one inch for the core which is equals out to a four row radiator,it has dual 11 inch cooling fans that are thermostatically controlled, block hugger headers with patriot 3 inch side pipes for the exhaust as you can see in the pictures. The interior is all stock except for gauge modifications. This used to be a clutch car and I have removed the clutch pedal from the car.Fabricated in the B&M automatic shifter to make it look factory. The brakes are stock along with that I have install new rear wheel cylinders as well as new shoes, new front pads as well. The suspesion is stock as well, also the rear end is the stock R180 with a 336 gear. This car was stripped to bare metal and fixed any impierties that I had come across. The paint is DODGE CHALLEGER bright white from 2010.I have also installed a new widsheild with new seal and the back glass also has a new seal. There will be another video link to this car where you can get some better pictures of interior and frame etc. I hope this will clear up some loose ends that people are wondering about. Thank You for your interest in this car.
