1982 SUZUKI RM465 SPECIAL This auction is for a 1982 Suzuki RM465 off -road Vintage racer. another unit leaving my storage barn. I believe the pics show a good story. Motor has mega compression, 4 speed trans, starts and runs, clutch and trans work as they should. Chain and sprockets 65-70%, Tires are 95%, plastics are not broken up, seat in very good condition, front forks don't seem to leak, rear shock has no oil seeping and no rust on shaft-works well. Wheel bearings along with supspension bearings are not clapped out and exhaust looks very good. all in all I would give this bike an 8 1/2 out of 10 for being a bike that is almost 30yrs old! This is not a trailer queen, it is intended for the collector with realistic views and or plans on racing. You will have to do a general go thru before riding, clean carb, change trans fluid, go over nuts and bolts, generally what you do with a bike that has been sitting for a period of time. We can ship via Forward Air in our wood made crate, cost is $475.00. Naturally, you may pick-up or look at the bike once we make the arragements. You may also have your shipper pick up the bike and those over-sea people, especially from down under can call us about this bike.
