This vehicle would not have been sold except for health reasons by the wife who is forced to be in a wheel chair so the elderly couple sold both their vehicles and purchased a wheel chair van. This vehicle was mostly driven by the wife and mostly garaged its whole life. This vehicle is original paint and one of the most rare colors I have seen in the early 80's turbo diesels. A dark forest green (first I have ever had in this color). This vehicle is in exceptional condition. This rare beauty was a part of the family and it was very hard for them to let it go. They even made me promise that I would make sure it went to a good family. So please only serious buyers who fully intend to keep this vehicle in as good a shape as it is now. Everything works as it should and it even has the factory Becker radio and cold air conditioning. This vehicle has no rust and aside from a few scratches on the left rear door (which I did not paint because I wanted to keep the car in original condition) the outside is exceptional. The interior has a few small cracks on the dash and the rear cover for the medical kit has disintegrated but the rest of the interior is above and beyond nice. The seats and door panels are perfect. The wood has no cracks and is perfect. The carpeting has no tears or frays and the headliner are all perfect. Rarely will you see an older Mercedes Benz as nice as this even with less miles and these are low. This vehicle has been loved and serviced over the years and is something special. This is an extremely nice 1983 Mercedes Benz 300D Turbo Diesel that is a 2 owner vehicle with the second owners being elderly and having this vehicle the last 25 years. This vehicle would not have been sold except for health reasons by the wife who is forced to be in a wheel chair so the elderly couple sold both their vehicles and purchased a wheel chair van. This vehicle was mostly driven by the wife and mostly garaged its whole life. This vehicle is original paint and one of the most rare colors I have seen in the early 80's turbo diesels. A dark forest green (first I have ever had in this color). This vehicle is in exceptional condition. This rare beauty was a part of the family and it was very hard for them to let it go. They even made me promise that I would make sure it went to a good family. So please only serious buyers who fully intend to keep this vehicle in as good a shape as it is now. Everything works as it should and it even has the factory Becker radio and cold air conditioning. This vehicle has no rust and aside from a few scratches on the left rear door (which I did not paint because I wanted to keep the car in original condition) the outside is exceptional. The interior has a few small cracks on the dash and the rear cover for the medical kit has disintegrated but the rest of the interior is above and beyond nice. The seats and door panels are perfect. The wood has no cracks and is perfect. The carpeting has no tears or frays and the headliner are all perfect. Rarely will you see an older Mercedes Benz as nice as this even with less miles and these are low. This vehicle has been loved and serviced over the years and is something special.
