Vehicle Detail
This is a super nice very well maintained 4 Runner SR5 4x4. All original paint in great shape, absolutely zero rust, no dents, dings, or any real scratches to speak of. All glass in the vehicle has the VIN laser etched into it. This 4 runner was used as a commuter vehicle in Florida for practically its whole life with only 1 very meticulous lady owner. I doubt the 4WD was ever used until the last couple years when it came to Virginia. I have a folder of reciepts including the original window sticker, inspections etc....Autocheck has possible odometer discrepancy because the miles were written down wrong when the vehicle was 1 year old, big deal how many miles could it have in 1 year anyway? The miles are 100% correct. As you can see it was a 1 owner truck in Florida until 2007 (basically its whole life). That is why it is not a rust bucket like all the ones up North, it is very unusual to find one from way down south with 4wd. I have had this truck since Feb of last year and have used it as a daily driver putting about 10 thousand miles on it in the last year and still driving it to work every day. Everything on the truck works 100%, ice cold AC, front and rear heat, all the power windows including the rear window, cruise control etc...works like brand new. I bought brand new high dollar wheels and tires for this from Tire Rack last year so they have about 10k on them. I put standard all season radials on this truck so it would be quiet on the highway at 70 MPH and get good gas mileage but it still goes great in the snow too. It will put my All Wheel Drive SUV will all out snow tires to shame in bad weather. Steering is nice and tight and i have taken it on many long trips this past summer with no problem I wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere. Only known issues are the throwout bearing "squeaks" a little sometimes when you are letting the clutch in and out and, this dose not affect drving the truck at all I used it to tow my boat to the lake a few times and the clutch has plenty of holding power. The truck also will leave a couple of small drips of oil where you park it. The shop said both of those were typical for a 4 runner with a few miles on it and neither wass a cause for major concern but they could fix the oil leak for a couple hundred bucks it was just the valve covers seeping a little bit. I actually bought the gaskets for the covers but just never made time to take it in as I did not want to be without the truck for a day or 2. It may or may not bother you depending on how anal you are about a few drips in your driveway. I usually add about a 1/2 quart between oil changes just to keep it up to the full mark at all times. Clear VA title in hand. Autocheck has possible odometer discrepancy because the miles were written down wrong when the vehicle was 1 year old, big deal how many miles could it have in 1 year anyway?
