This auction is for a 65 Ford Thunderbird Coupe. These are the specs given by previous owner: 4 Barrel Ford Carb./Dual Exhaust system, Thunderbird 390 Special V-8 (300 HP), 3 speed Cruise-O-Matic Transmisson, Coil springs, 113.2 wheelbase, weighs 4359 lbs, top speed 115-120 mph. I had the car down to my mechanic and they looked it over and said that the motor and transmission seem very good, motor runs very nice, could use tune up, no strange noises or knocks at all, the battery is weak, the brakes need work...they drove it back down to my shop and said it has good power and is pretty quick, ran very nice for them. The body is in good shape, not much rust, seems pretty solid, rooftop shows weather wear, tires seem good, I own a dealership and brought this in to sell, previous owner said he wanted to restore - just ran out of time...needed money. This is really a cool looking car, would be pretty easy to restore.
