Vehicle Detail
I am selling a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT 4x4 with the awesome 5.9 Cummins diesel engine. It is a 6 speed manual transmission with 168k miles on it. It has a heavy duty Frontier bumper/grill guard on the front. It has new batteries and new BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires on the front. The rear tires are the same type and have over 50% tread left. It has a Class 3 receiver with an adjustable drop and trailer brake controls. Diamond plate bed caps that match the front bumper. I have a matching tool box for sale as well. The truck has an 8ft bed and 2 extra leaf springs in the rear suspension. Dark tint on all the windows, which are power along with power mirrors and seat. It has a new Sony CD player with the infinity sound system and line-in capability. The engine has a cold air intake, all catalytic converters are removed, as well as a completely new AC system as of last July. This truck is a beast, a lot of fun to drive, great looking, and gets OVER 22mpg!! The Kelly blue book value is 19,100. I have two trucks and no longer need a 3/4 ton so I have decided to sell this one. Please contact me with any questions you may have. I can be reached by email at TristanHine@hotmail.com. The last time I posted something for sale and left my phone number I got a hundred calls from people wanting to help me sell it. I have plenty of pictures and I will be glad to send you more. All offers will be considered. On Jan-14-11 at 15:03:50 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE: I just wanted to add a few notes here to answer some of the emails I have been getting. This is a USED truck with 168k miles on it. The blue book value listed above is the value in fair condition. This is their definition of fair: Some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition. Clean title history, the paint, body and/or interior need work performed by a professional. Tires may need to be replaced. There may be some repairable rust damage. That being said, I have added pictures of the cosmetic defects on this truck, which are not many. It does however need new front shocks and will probably need new front brakes by the end of the year depending on how many miles you put on it. It does not have a current Texas inspection sticker on it due to the dark tint and tint strip on the front windshield. The registration is current. It is a great truck, I just want you to be aware of everything and no surprises. As far as how it rides... It rides like a big truck with a beefed up rear suspension. If you have some weight in the bed or are pulling a trailer it rides great. If it is empty, you will feel every bump on the road. The springs can be taken out of the rear suspension and last time I checked it was going to cost about $100 to do that. It does have Mud Terrain tires which have rather large tread but there is almost no road noise from them. I don't want to talk anyone out of bidding on this truck, I just want to make sure everything is on the table. Thank you for your interest.
