Well where do I start with this car, lets start here, we have a 1974 matching number big block chevelle that was originaly from California, it spent the first part of its life cruising, and main transportation for someone in California, it was later purchased by a magizine called Super Chevy they picked it up as a project car and performed a complete build, thru this build the car was in more than 15 magizines, with descriptive articles and pictures detailing what they were doing and why. This Chevelle was previously owned by past Super Chevy editor Doug Marion, when they started the build they classified the chevelle the LAST454 all the magizine articles and the the original blue california plates refer to the chevelle as the LAST 454, the main idea behind the build was to prove that they could improve the gas mileage and make the chevelle perform like a late 60s chevelle, when they completed the build it did just that. Details about the LAST 454 now, the motor has around 22000 miles, the transmission is a turbo 400 and it has 500miles, the car is a rock solid south western car that has ben in storage for many years, it runs and drives great and every thing on the chevelle has been rebuilt or replaced at some time over the years, the paint looks great at 10 foot, but is showing weather cracks chips , most of this is caused from the soth western heat and the sun, again the car looks great at 10 foot or cruising, and is a blast to drive, and if it is to hot outside you can put the windows up and turn the air on still blows cold , no matter where you go this car gets thumbs up and alot of looks, I have had people remember this car from the Super Chevy magizine articles, the car comes wth all the magizine articles and the original California blue plates, dont miss out on owing a piece of history, the LAST 454, Thanks for looking.
