1952 mgtd. Origional mgtd body and chassis but now has chevy 3.1 V6 and 5 speed transmission. The engine is a new longblock and a 5 speed camaro transmission. The rear axle is a dana 44 posi with 3.08 gearing. Wheel vintiques wheels with 5 on 4 1/2 pattern. Dual exhaust. Front disc brakes, rear drum. Aluminum radiator. Runs and drives great....much better than origional. I was putting this together for myself but need to sale due to some personal issues. The body is origional all steel. Chassis is origional mg. Still to be completed is interior work and the wheels need painting (they are as bought gray) The seats are nice custom made lowback similiar to TR3. Needs carpet. I have the side curtain frames but they will need covering. I also have a few extra body parts (doors, hood) that will go with the car. (hopefully you will never need them!) The dash has stewart warner instruments. Due to where the fuel sender mounts in a mgtd tank, the fuel gauge does not read correctly however. The gauge will remain on full until about half a tank and then read from there to empty. (mgtd's only had a low fuel light so the sender location is not centered in the tank height) My long range plan was to have an aluminum tank fabricated with the sender hole located on the end of the tank to allow for float travel. Anyway, works the way it is but wanted to be complete in my description. Vehicle has clear Texas title (1952 MG) This car is listed locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early if needed.
