Vehicle Detail

Up for auction here is a 1951 Willys 4x4 truck. The cab and bed were removed off the orginal frame and fitted onto a 1965 Kaiser Jeep truck J2000 Frame and axles. This is a much stronger frame then the original. Front and back axles are Dana 44’s. The 350 Buick engine, Turbo 400 transmission and the Dana20 transfer case all came out of a 1970 Jeep Wagoneer. The Engine is pretty much stock with the exception of a RV cam, custom chrome headers from TA Buick performance, and a new Carter 600cfm carb. I dressed the engine up nicely with TA perf. Black wrinkle coat valve covers, polished out alternator, polished out brackets for power steering and alternator, braided steel lines for power steering and fuel. The 4 core radiator was recently gone through a year and a half ago. I have a TA performance polished out alum. Intake manifold that I was going to mount on but never got the time. I totally redid the front suspension by getting rid of the stock narrow leafs and mounting up Rancho springs. I reversed shackled and made new beefy front spring supports. The truck is raised min of at least 6". I have brand new 35" BFG mud terrains on Dick Cepek polished alum. rims. The trans has a mild shift kit and a B7M lock out shifter and runs good. I just recently went through the Dana 20 transfer case rebuilding it from the ground up and also added twin stick shifting. I also have a spare non rebuilt Dana 20 to go along with this truck. I also just put new exhaust from the headers back with flowmaster turbo mufflers and chrome tips. It sounds awesome! The cab of the truck is all brown leather diamond tucked bench seat and door panels. The original center dash instrument cluster is still mounted in but only the speedo works, All other gauges, oil and water temp, are AutoMeter custom installed in the dash panel along with a bigger AutoMeter tach above the steer column. Matching custom polished and cnc machined glove box lid with "Willys" machined in. Stereo is mounted in glove box. 2 -6x9 tri-axile speakers are mounted in the diamond tucked headliner. The bed of the truck has been completly lined with alum. diamond plate and looks impressive along with a alum. diamond plate tool box. I can go on and on!! The biggest problem with this truck is that i havent ran it in a year in a half!. The gas smells stale and when I parked it (always in my garage) it was because my electric fan had died causing my engine to overheat. The engine still ran last when I parked it but because it has sat for so long and I never got to checking if there was any head gasket or head damage from the over heating, I’m not sure if it will fire right up or need the fuel removed and yaddy yaddy yaddy. I just do not have the time to work on this anymore. I really don’t want to sell it but it has to go. I have complete heads...infact a complete engine (unassembled) that has been balanced and will go to the winning bidder along with other spare parts that I may have.. There’s a new winch (not yet electrically hooked up)and hi-jack mounted up front on the custom front end as well. Just for my starting price someone will get a sweet, sweet deal! I’m being honest as I can be and trying to include every bit of info about this truck as I can....but please whoever wins this auction know that there will be some work involved to have this truck up and running 100%. Anybody with negative feedback need not bid. I only want serious interested buyers only. The truck is currently registered here in California and has no title issues. I am trying to run 2 different businesses so financial distress is not the issue!! Time is! Buyer is responsible for picking this truck up. I will assist with the buyers carrier when they arrive.Local pick up is fine but remember this truck is not currently running. No negative feedback. Low or no feedback will have to contact me I just remembered that I also have a 1951 Willys wagon body...off frame plus a used 1951 wagon frame, hood, fenders and other body parts that whoever wins can have....I'm getting out of the whole Willys projects. These parts are about 30 min. away from where the truck is so you would have 2 locations to pick everything up considering buyer wants them. I also want to clarify that there may be no damage to the heads or head gasket(s) I'm only assuming that because she got up to 225 degrees. She was running when i got it home the day the electric fan burned up. On Jan-06-11 at 21:37:23 PST, seller added the following information: http://s1133.photobucket.com/albums/m599/rdeanhanson/
