Hello everybody. Selling my beloved 1969 VW Beetle. First of all you may notice that it's not all shiny and pretty. I like it that way, if I paint it then it just looks like every other Bug and all the years of Character is suddenly covered by Boring shiny new paint. All that aside, the car is a real diamond. I took a very solid 2 owner car that had a broken motor and had a brand new 1776cc dual port (mild spec) motor built completely fresh components. It's has freshly built dual 36mm Dellortos,Bosch 009 Dist.,Header system,and runs extremely well. The body on this beauty is incredible. I can't see anywhere that it's ever been hit. It's only been painted 1 time in it's 42 year lifespan. There is only 1 small spot of rust on the battery tray(about 2inches square). The interior is not show quality but extremely sanitary. I had the seats converted to lowback. The carpet and headliner are very clean and the door panels are very very nice Originals. I have custom made 16x4.5 Fuchs on front and 16x6 on rear. They have been powdercoared Ashault black and gloss detail. They have almost new tires(about 2000mi). and the front end has been replaced with a narrowed(3") and adjustable Old Speed beam with drop spindles and new drums(fr) and all new brakes. The car rides like a VW that has NOT been lowered and actually I think better. The car comes with the original VW front bumper in good condition with detailed bumper brackets and I have the rear Fresh chromed rear Vw bumper and fresh detailed rear brackets. I like the car without the rear bumper so after the rear bumper came back from chrome I just put it away. Well there you have it. I drive this car EVERYDAY, and everywhere I go. I just want to change up a little. I'm looking for a VERY old VW so I'm sacrificing my car for the next venture. I will regret selling this car. It rides nice,it's super reliable,the heater workss, the wipers work, the turn signals works, ETC. The only things not working are the light on the speedo, no dome light and rear window defogger other than that it all works. This will be a 5 day event. So it you have questions hit me up.
