No Reserve I've owned this Buick for several years and was restored by the previous owner. It is a very good amateur restoration and although not a show car, it is nice. The car is straight and the body is rust free with all original metal. The interior was done in a custom cloth, and although attractive the original would have been white vinyl. The engine bay is clean, and the exhaust is a dual free-flow type. The engine was rebuilt at some point, I was told within the last 4K but unable to verify. Appears to have a mild cam and 3-speed tranny v.s. the original powerglide. Everything under the hood looks stock. I only drive this car in sunny weather for personal use and club events. It is garage stored full-time. I paid over 11K when purchased in 2008. Bonus The Specials of this era would have come with the (now rare) Buick Dog-Dish hubcaps on steel wheels which were used from 1964 through 1972, and are somewhat popular on the later GS and Stage-1 cars. With the Buy-Now price only, I wil include a set of -4- NOS Buick Dog-Dish caps, and a set of -4- gently used Dog-Dish caps in great condition...A set for Show, and a set for Go. Faults: The top is in excellent condition, however needs a new well liner. The trunk was not recoated and as you can see there is no rust or rot anywhere. There are only a few paint chips. Fairly rare to see a Special with Factory Air and the system is functional but needs a Freon service. The Power-Steering pump needs a new cap or gasket as it leaks a bit. I added a remanufactured carb. with electric choke, and could use some fine tuning. In response to the question about the power top, which is Hydraulic, it also has a matching white vinyl boot or tonneau to cover the retracted top.
