Up for auction is a Grabber Blue 1971 Ford Torino with 71,000 miles on the body, original 351 Cleveland and C4 transmission. It has factory AC , power steering, power brakes, rear defrost, and dual sport mirrors. I got the car as a partial trade in Texas. The car been in storage since 1999 and was not running. I trailered it home, drained and refilled fluids, flushed gas tank, and also replaced plugs, wires, fuel pump, battery, air cleaner, carpet,trunk weather stripping, and dash pad. I put on a GT hood, and Cobra honey comb tail light assembly. I also put on some fairly 17" Cobra Wheels and 245 45 17 Nitto Tires, that were on a Ranchero that I traded. They look and fit good with spacers up front. I put in power black leather seats from a '97 GT and they look pretty good, and I still have the original front bench seat if winning bidder wants it. It starts and runs fine, it has a dual exhaust system with Edelbrock Mufflers, MSD Ignition set up, 750 Holley DP, FOMOCO aluminum valve covers, and a new balanced drive shaft. The only real weak points are the brakes because the pedal pressure is soft and should be serviced, and the headliner. I have a new black headliner and front spoiler that go with the car. The paint looks OK, and the fenders, trunk, quarters, bumpers (surface rust), and floors are solid. The grille is cracked but does not show in the pics. The body has a some dings here and there and I took off the wheel trim moldings to check for rust in fender lips and they are pretty clean. This vehicle is being sold as is with no warranty, and buyer to assume all costs related to transportation. The vehicle is for sale elsewhere, and the auction may end early if it is sold as such. Due to non payers and the like, a $500 deposit is due with 48 hours of auctions end, and balance is due within 5 days of auctions end.
