All Original Classic 1957 Chevrolet Belair 2 Door Hardtop (Chevy). This is a Very solid and very clean California car! Clear Title and up to date California Registration through May 22, 2011. A perfect restoration project! This is NOT some piece junk or pile of rust. If you are looking for an un-molested, solid original, look no further. Starts right up on cold start up and Drives beautifully! This car has been sitting in my garage for a while. I started to dismantle the car in order to do a restoration, but I fell ill for long period of time and never got back to it. I started to take off parts on the Driver side both outside and inside but didn’t get very far as you can see in the photos. ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. The beautiful White Wall Tires are like new with less than 1400 miles on them. The trunk is clean and also includes the Original Jack and Original Spare Tire! I have driven this car in several large parades in the condition it is in now (before I took any parts off). Yes, the Heater works! Yes, the clock works! Yes, the Radio works! Yes, everything works! If you plan to restore this car, it will need minimal body work, paint, re-chrome, and interior (upholstery, carpet, etc.) but it is a very nice looking car as-is that drives well! The floor pan is solid! The body is also very straight and solid. There is only minimal rust in some spots on the very bottom of both sides, mainly on the doors and very bottom of the front fenders (see photos). It is minimal, but will need to be repaired. Otherwise, a very straight and solid exterior. The original padded dash board is separating and cracked a bit and will need to be repaired or removed. The windshield does have a crack and will need to be replaced. Sold AS IS. The only reason why you could not drive this baby home is because I removed the driver side door handle and the left tail light when I began my short lived restoration a couple of years ago. Otherwise, you could drive this puppy clear across the country! Original V8 283 engine with power pack (4 barrel carb with Origianl Air Cleaner). Original Powerglide transmission. Original Factory Power Brakes with re-built Treaddle Vac. Original Factory Power Steering & Generator rebuilt. Original re-built 4 barrel carburetor. Original re-built wiper motor.
