Vehicle Detail
1987 F-250 4x4 Extended Cab XLT Lariat California - Arizona truck (2 owners - 1 in Arizona until 2007 and 1 in California 2008 on) Ford Factory Long Block 460 Crate Engine with 3000 miles, installed by Folsom Lake Ford of Folsom California I have a pile of receipts for the truck that will be included. New or re-manufactured Vapex distributor, oil pump, oil pan, harmonic balancer, alternator, starter, torque converter, flex plate, water pump, neutral safety switch, all belts, all hoses, spark plugs, heater core and hoses. Leer Camper Shell with carpet kit, tip out sliding front window, lifting side window; 2 locking long gun boxes 1 faces lifting window - never get stuck with all your rifles under everything $1500 new in 2004! Doug Thorley Tri-Y 216Y1-S Headers (3/8"flanges-14ga. mild steal tubing) w/air injection ports, Dual full length 2" exhaust and Percy's Carbon XX manifold gaskets (Headers alone about $680) Reman. Holley carburetor (rebuilt by Ford at time of engine installation) and Edelbrock Performer intake Factory air conditioning (new compressor, belts and converted to the new type freon in 2008) works great and runs very cold Electric door locks with remoteElectric windowsTilt steering column (remanufactured unit installed in 2008) Alpine CD StereoSliding rear windowOverhead visor storage shelfBack seat folds for storage or bedTinted windowsTachometer, Oil pressure and Temperature gauges'Tuffy' Security console with push button lock and keys ($240 16-gauge steel Gun Box) between front seats Dual tanksTow Package includes Electric trailer brakesFront and Rear sway barsTail gate lock'Lido' Wheel well box in bedSpray in bed linerPaint and body work (full truck $2900 in 2003)Heat Buster radiator and electric fan on adjustable thermostatTransmission coolerDual batteries33x12.5x16.5LT mud and snow tires and American racing alloy wheelsLockout HubsNew front brakes and returned rotorsNew windshield sprayer motor and replaced the holding tank (used but great condition tank, I could not find a new one). I bought this truck in late 2007 from a family of hunters that moved to California from Arizona, they kept the truck in great shape. They added a $2900 paint job, the $1500 Leer shell has a carpeted head liner with tilt out front sliding window and special roof mounted gun boxes turned toward the lifting side window, $300 spray in bed liner,$760 tranny rebuild,Holley carb at $320, Edelbrock Performer intake for $200, Heatbuster radiator $390, $240 Tuffy security console, the $680 Doug Thorley headers and 2" exhaust, Lido box for oils and tools, sliding rear window, overhead visor storage, etc....... Anyway you get the idea, they liked to buy stuff for the truck. I have continued to rebuild this great truck by replacing the engine with a Ford factory crate engine at $2150 and $1800 for labor. Adding to that new or rebuilt torque converter, flex plate, harmonic balancer, water pump, distributor, alternator, motor mounts, neutral safety switch, starter, air conditioner compressor and new style freon, oil pump, oil pan, heater core and hoses, new front brakes, air pump, windshield sprayer motor and tank, all the belts and hoses. I have also replaced the door panels and sun visors. License and registration is paid until 10/2011 The only thing I know this truck needs is a passenger side door handle that I have not been able to find in red. This is a great truck that I have put only about 3000 miles on the factory crate engine. I have a bunch of other pictures, ebay has a limit of 24. Contact me and the others will be sent. It is the red passenger side arm rest (at the narrow end you pull the door shut with) that needs to be replaced, not the door opening handle. Sorry about the mix-up. Glad to send pictures if you send me your email address.
