Here is a great little project truck that won't need tons of body work and rust repair. We stuck a battery in it and fired it right up, running on a small bottle but it didn't pump gas up from the tank in the few minutes we had it running and the carb leaks, so needs a little TLC. on the fuel system but the motor purred!! The cab corners, bottoms of doors, front top of cab where mice build nests, all look good. The running boards look amazingly good, just a little wrinkle along the drivers side. The roof and back of cab is not all caved in or beat up like most of these old pickups are, a smal dent on the right hand top of cab, quite shallow. The front fenders are the worst part, cracked right in the middle above tire and was gas welded years ago. Rear fenders, wich are the hardest to find are quite good, with just a few cracks, welds and small dents.Wood floor is of course shot. Seat is still quite solid, done in an old vynil style cover, might be original? I put in 84800 for the mileage, but the first digit is cloudy, and might be only 34800, I'm really not sure. Will need all new flatglass, but that is quite cheap. Tires and wheels are mismatched, changed out for ones that hold air, but I can supply correct era 16" wheels with it. There are some spare grille parts in the bed, nothing great, a chrome one that is broke in half. This is a truck that you could do a little work and be driving around by this summer!! This was bought from an estate. We have paper work to file for a new title, which might take up to 60 days or so to get back.
