You are bidding on my 1999 Valkyrie Tourer. This has been an awesome machine but as you can see from the mileage, it was used very little and just by me. I am the original owner and purchased it new from a honda dealer here in NJ in the year 2000. What I have done to it to make it my own: Mustang seat, both driver and passenger with backrest. This is a must and was put on when bike was new. Kuryakin driver pegs. Makes a difference when on long rides. (Like I would know) Slight pin-striping on tank and covers and front fender by well known artist who attends all the large meets. (mountainman) Has new Avon tires--Venom R's with less than 700 miles on them. Has had nothing but Mobil-1 in it since the break-in period was over, probably back in 2002. I still changed the oil every year even though I did not put many miles on per year. Bike has never been layed down. * This is my second Valk, both from the same dealer. If you are looking at this auction, you probably know what these beasts are all about. If not, find someone who has and you will always hear the same remarks. There is no other bike on the road quite like them. Not sure why Honda chose to let them go...oh well. They have six cylinders, six carbs, six little exhaust pipes going into 2 huge mufflers and you had better hold on if you really crack it. I rarely did, maybe a little intimidated. Reason for selling: I know someone will ask---I will be 60 years old next month, always drove this thing like an old man, and my gut is telling me to hang up my helmet. NO bad experiences, don't want to wait for one. Ask any questions please BEFORE you bid. I can also take more pics if needed. This is the first time I have ever sold a vehicle on ebay so I can understand the need for pictures. The bike is in my shed and out of the elements and is in very good shape. In my text it says that both the drivers seat and passenger seat are manufactured by Mustang Seats. They are, but the only backrest is for the passenger seat, just as pictures show.
