1948 Chevy One ton Dump truck. Runs good, has a newer early 70's six cylinder with the original 4 speed manual trans and 2 speed rear end. I have driven this truck to the dump etc. and it runs good. It is in need of restoration, or could be used as-is. It has a bad exhaust leak where the pipe connects to the exhaust manifold - and really could use a new exhaust system. The tires look old but hold air, one wheel and tire is missing on one of the rear duals, but I can put one one if necessary. The window weatherstripping is gone and the windows rattle to all get-out, but it's just a noisy fun old truck in need of TLC. I am not sure if the dump works, I will play with it in the next few days and update the listing. It does have a clear NE title. As can be seen in the pics - the body is pretty good, there is no rust thru anywhere on this truck except as seen in the pic of the right lower cab corner. There is also some body damage in front of the driver's door as seen in the pic. Other than that it just has a few dings and scrapes here and there. The passenger side window is broken but still intact. It does not have any fluid leaks that I can see. The wheelbase is 11', the bed dimensions are 8'Wide and 9'Long.
