1966 Triumph Bonneville

Up for bid is a 1966 Triumph Bonneville project. The bike is COMPLETELY disassembled & will require some mechanical knowledge of bikes to complete. The engine has a 750 big bore kit & engine has all the parts. The head will need to be rebuilt as one of the valve guides has been smashed (no damage to the head itself). This head also uses only one carb, possibly a TR6 head, but I don't know. I have 70-80% of the all the other parts, which are included in this auction, however I DO NOT have: 1. The correct Bonneville head 2. Any correct electrical wiring harnesses (bike ran with a mity max box,which is included) 3. Handlebars 4. Exhaust pipes or mufflers 5. Rear wheel, though I have the rim 6. Correct rear chrome fender (fender included is aluminum) 7. Chrome timing cover is included, but is rusty 8. Front wheel is the later twin leading shoe type 9. And a few other odds & ends Mind you this bike has not seen the road in many years & has been stored in not the best location, so quite a few of these parts are somewhat rusty & dirty, some will have to be replaced, but many I believe are very salvageable. That is the biggest key to this bike, it needs someone willing to go through the parts, to inventory, restore & assemble her. The engine & frame have the matching #DU30720, which makes it a 1966 Bonnie & has a clear title. Again, this bike WILL require a good amount of work, but is a classic matching #'s bike.
