Vehicle Detail

I am offering for sale my 1967 Mustang factory S code with numbers matching 390 4V and C-6 automatic transmission and factory 9 inch rear axle. This car was a California car most of it's life until previous owner bought it in May of 2009 and had it shipped to Arkansas. The car is showing 39,978 miles and is believed to be correct but I have no documentation to prove it so I am selling it as having 139,978 miles. The original S code 390 4V is very strong and it retains it's original S code intake and factory chrome powered by Ford valve covers. The original C-6 shifts very well and the original 9 inch rear axle is still in place. The car came with factory A/C but the compressor and brackets are missing. The factory power steering and disc brakes work well. The car came with the deluxe interior with the stainless trim identical to the Shelby Mustangs. The interior needs some attention but I have the following items new in the box for it and these are quality reproduction interior pieces not the cheap stuff: New black deluxe comfort weave seat covers for front buckets and rear seat. New concours black deluxe door panels, New package tray, New deluxe headliner kit with gaskets and hardware and visor covers, New black molded carpet, New black dash pad, New Shelby polished aluminum overflow tank and hardware, New in the box Shelby GT 500 three spoke steering wheel and new GT 500 pop open gas cap which I will install on car before the end of the auction. The new 15X8 wheels and new 225/60/15 BF Goodrich Radial TA's have less than 50 miles on them and were just bought and installed two weeks ago to the tune of $1,200. If buyer does not want them and wants to provide their own wheels and tires I will deduct $1,000 off of sale price. The body is straight and rust free with a few dings and scratches and paint is driver quailty but car needs to be repainted to be a show piece. The underside of the car is very solid and the trunk is solid as well. All the glass is good in the car and the original overhead console is still in place. The factory tachometer works well and the car does not overheat or make any unusual noises and it does not smoke or use oil. The car sounds great with the dual exhaust and it will hold it's own taking off at the stop light. You can drive this car home if you like but heater is not hooked up so you might want to consider a trailer or transport.
