Vehicle Detail

Being relisted due to a non paying bidder who has failed to make contact since he won . Username rvalentine77 is a fake account , listed as living in two different states and the phone number goes to a womans cell phone who has never heard of the man . Please dont play on this auction . I have bills to pay and dont have time to file claims and relist . Hello Hello . Well Reluctantly ! here is my 72 Blazer up for auction . I bought this truck off Ebay roughly 9 years ago and have had a ball with it ever since. Ive made rescue trips to town in it in the middle of snow storms , Ive removed shelby county deputys off mud roads in stuck crown vics and even done a few rescue missions for them off int he river bottoms and field roads . Its made jeeps look silly and trucks with 12,000 dollars invested in drive line and motor look like they dont belong in the same mud hole with it . However , ive got a growing family , another project 55 gasser and no time anymore to peel the top off and go cruising for chicks " my wife wouldnt like that " ha ha ha . So here it is . I removed the 1/2 ton axles about 3 years ago and put the dana 44 and corp 14 bolt with 4:11's under it . at that time i put the wheel vintique 15x14 steel monster wheels wrapped in 39.5 x18x15 Boggers " there is no other mud tire, all others are amatuers " . I actually drove this truck every day back and fourth to work for years with a small block in it and 40 inch Mickeys . When the big block and the boggers came along i quit using it as a daily with big aspirations of restoring it and then one thing led to another and before long it was only getting brought out to go watch the fire works or pull someone out for the local police department. Here lately she has been parked int he driveway just sitting there only getting driven once every 3 months or so and thats just down the road to my folks place and back . Its time for her to move on to someone that will fix her up. The good...... Before i bought it i was told the floors were replaced . And to be honest they look it . they are in excellent shape . driver side rocker box is gone and needs a new one but the pass side is in good shape . body mounts are all in good shape but the bottoms of the door skins are rusted and could use a patch panels. The flares were on it when i got it also . i was told they were from a 68 vette and grafted on but i never paid much attention to them . the fiberglass is cracked where they meet the body and either need repaired or removed all together. I was told when this truck was first built it was a show truck and was in a few magazines however ive never been able to track it down in any. at one time it had one of those fugly tube custom grills and 39 inch mickeys . It is an actual 72 with the one year single wall top but i put the 70 grille in it because i like that grille the best. Top is in good shape with the exception of the rear hatch hinges , as typical they need work . Interior is rough and dirty . it does have the original rear seat but the front buckets were replaced with dygerts , before i bought it the pass side seat had been burned so i just slid a cover over it and thats worked fine . The motor is a 468 bbc . trans is a th350 coupled to a 205 . The motor has never given me any fits , the 750 holley has sat for a bit and could use a tune up as well as the rest of the motor . transmission always worked and shifted great but i had a problem about a month ago , the battery was low and when i was cranking her over it bucked when it started to fire and chewed a couple teeth off the flexplate . It still starts but sounds horrible when its cranking over . Ill throw in another flexplate but im not going to put it in , dont feel like doing it . The tires on it look like brand new , seriously they are probably 99% only seen maybe 200 street miles , the rest are all around the farm. Has an alpine cd player , a nice assortment of gauges that all work . tilt steering , great brakes and steering . When i was driving it every day it was nothing to cruise down the highway at 70 mph , when i built a truck to drive i made sure it was safe and had no problems taking them out onto busy roadways ... I just dont have the time or space anymore and am cleaning house . Im sure ive missed some things so if you have any questions feel free to ask . I have clean and clear Illinois paper work in my name ready for your signature. Blaze must be picked up at my location in shelbyville IL 62565 or i can help load it for your shipper. I WILL NOT accept paypal on this blazer . It is Cashiers check sent well in advance of pickup or cash in hand at time of pickup. Bring a trailer and a pocket full of money.
