1997 Mercury Cougar only 60,000 miles! 4.6 Liter V-8, 4 speed Automatic Excellent conditon, 1 owner car, meticulously maintained. This car was literally owned by a little old lady (my grandma) the only reason we are selling it is because she just turned 85 and can no longer drive! The car is in almost showroom condition. It was meticulously maintained. The oil was changed every 3,000 miles (last oil change was at 58,118 miles.) The car had a full service at 50,000 miles (Transmission fluid and filter change, antifreeze flush/ refill, and new wiper blades.) The only repair the car had was the manifold was replaced by the dealer due a recall on a factory defect. Other than the one repair the car has never had any problems or mechanical issues. The car has brand new goodyear tires. (less than 4,000 miles since installed.) The car has always been garage kept and has been stored every winter since brand new. (My grandparents live in Florida durning the winter months) The car has never been in salt or snow and is completely rust free. The interior is very clean. The backseat looks like it has never been sat in. There are no rips or tears in any of the seats. The car has never been smoked in and is very clean for being 13 years old. The driver side window has a sticky track that may needs lubed. Every now and then when you roll it down it will stick for a second. The exterior of the car is dent and rust free. Paint looks great and still shines. There is a light scratch on the driver side fender (see picture.) It has a few small chips here and nothing major. I would say the body is way above average especially for being a 97. There is a small crack in the right side tail lens about the size of a pencil eraser (See picture.) Also the driver side door has a slight sag when you open and close it. It doesn't affect anything but I wanted to note it. Again over all the car looks great. I'm just trying nit pick every little imperfection. This car is going to make someone very happy. It has been trouble free and runs A-1! Feel free to contact me with any questions!
