The GTA is a GT equipped Mustang with an automatic transmission. They were produced in hardtops as well as convertibles. This car is one of 1,135 mustangs with this engine/transmission combo (390-C6) in a convertible, in 1967. I believe the drive train to be original to the car. The engine has the correct C6MEA casting. The intake is also original with similar casting numbers. This car is an Arizona car and it certainly shows. Retaining its original sheet metal the car is very straight and solid. Seams are clean and original plug welds are evident. The undercarriage shows original spot welds and “drippings” on the floor pans from original assembly. The bottoms of the doors are factory and clean. The car has had a fresh tune up with a rebuilt original carburetor, new plugs, condenser, rotor, and points. The originality is apparent throughout the car (with the exception of the interior color). The fenders have the VIN #’s still legible; the ID tags remain on most components, and the trunk is still detailed with a spare and jack. Some of the original paint has been saved in the jams. The top is in excellent condition and functions like it’s new. The interior is in nice shape with a functional original radio and dash/console lights. There really hasn’t been any modification to the interior at all. This car can be owned for FRACTIONS less. This car is sold without a warranty and is sold with a transferable NYS registration. NYS buyers will have to pay applicable sales tax or their county. Up for auction is a RARE opportunity to own a one year production Big Block 1967 Ford Mustang GTA S-Code Convertible painted its original Lime Gold (one repaint) . The GTA is a GT equipped Mustang with an automatic transmission. They were produced in hardtops as well as convertibles. This car is one of 1,135 mustangs with this engine/transmission combo (390-C6) in a convertible, in 1967. I believe the drive train to be original to the car. The engine has the correct C6MEA casting. The intake is also original with similar casting numbers.

This car is an Arizona car and it certainly shows. Retaining its original sheet metal the car is very straight and solid. Seams are clean and original plug welds are evident. The undercarriage shows original spot welds and “drippings” on the floor pans from original assembly. The bottoms of the doors are factory and clean. The car has had a fresh tune up with a rebuilt original carburetor, new plugs, condenser, rotor, and points.

The originality is apparent throughout the car (with the exception of the interior color). The fenders have the VIN #’s still legible; the ID tags remain on most components, and the trunk is still detailed with a spare and jack. Some of the original paint has been saved in the jams. The top is in excellent condition and functions like it’s new. The interior is in nice shape with a functional original radio and dash/console lights. There really hasn’t been any modification to the interior at all.
