For sale, 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. I am second owner, purchasing car from original California family owner. Built at Van Nuys plant, sold new at Jack Amick Motors in Auburn, CA in May 1979. I have EVERY piece of original documentation for this car, tank sticker/build sheet, sales invoice, credit union loan application, gas logs, oil change, smog inspection etc! Original solar gold, deluxe hobnail, tan cloth interior. Original owner put lambswool seat covers on seats and leather cover on steering wheel when new. I took them off in '10! Options include 6.6 litre 403 olds engine, automatic trans (rebuilt, with stall converter), ps, pb, A/C, tilt, cruise, pw, pl, trunk release, rear defog, pulse wipers, am/fm stereo cassette, power antenna, WS6 suspension (4-wheel disc brakes), 3:42 posi rear-end (rebuilt). Condition: exterior needs stripped and repainted, absolutely no rust on the car anywhere. Car was undercoated when new. Slight bump to rear, driver tail light needs replaced (small crack). All spoilers intact and in good condition. Interior is nice, orginal carpeting needs replaced, needs headliner, dash pad cracked, could be repaired. Car starts and drives excellent and tight. I would not hesistate to drive this car to either coast. New tires, center cap emblems, nice lug nuts. Original cruise control transducer missing, I have complete system to use as parts! Includes original space saver spare tire, jack and trunk mat. Complete smog system intact, catalytic converter, dual mufflers, chrome side splitter exhaust! Car comes with new door weather stripping, trunk weather stripping, outer window door moldings. Only modifications to the car are aftermarket car alarm, aftermarket horns (originals intact) and change in rear-end ratio! This car is incredibly tight and original!
