Here is a great car to start your V-dub project! This car belongs my father, and he has owned it since 1973. The car is pretty much complete but has no engine or transmission. All the glass is in good shape. The interior is complete, but not perfect. Body does have minor rust but the floor pans look good. The car uses a standard 4-speed manual not the junk auto-stick. Car was originally a fuel injection model, but was converted to a carb system in the mid 1970's. This car only has a little over 96,000 original miles! Note the cool early 70's "Mag Wheels"...rare to say the least. Good tires too. You will get a clear N.C title, and even the original owners manual. Car is located in Spruce Pine, NC near Asheville. The dash is cracked. There is slight rust around the lower winshield and rear deck lid. The lower rocker panels also have surface rust...not bad for a 40 year old vehicle. This car has been in North Carolina as far as we know since new. It was purchased by my father used at Valley Volkswagen in Fayetteville NC in 1973. I say this because we don't have major body issues like cars usually have from up north.
