1993 BMW 740IL, v8, auto. I bought this car to fix up and sell. I have managed to get all the power options (windows, seats, sunroof, mirrors, etc.) working by changing out many fuses and a few relays. The engine would turn but not try to start. I changed out the crankshaft sensor, and the ECM (engine control module) and now she will fire and run for about 5 sec. and cut out, like she is starved for fuel. It may be the fuel pump or something electrical, I am not sure, and do not want to mess with it anymore. The tranny goes in and out of gear, needs a new shifter handle, and breaks will stop the car. The hood is in black primer and will need to by sprayed to match the Black paint, which is in pretty good shape. There are a few dings here and there, not too bad for a car of this age. The passenger seat has a tear see photos, the interior could use a good detailing. It also has a brand new heavy duty battery, just for a Bimmer of this size that cost $100. The rear passenger door will close in the first position but not up tight, not sure what the issue is there. The rear left tire will leak down over time. The battery seems to drain down if the car sits. With all this being said, I will price the car far less than what I have into it, and a handy person could most likely get it running with not too much needing to be spent or could part it out for a bundle of money (I know for having to buy the parts I bought for it).
