This is a truly amazing customized old classic typical of the 60s. The original 3 speed Tri-Power on the column was changed over thirty five years ago to a Rock Crusher GM 4 speed Pontiac transmission. The rear end is stock with posi-traction. It runs strong and perfect. You can drive it anywhere. The exterior of the car is black with custom painted flames on the hood and sides of the car. The paint is older but still very good. The paint is probably 15 to 20 years old. There is no rust or "cancer" anywhere that I can find. All the chrome is perfect on the car and there's lots of it. It has a lot of Moon racing equipment and 152 Moon bullets in the grille, Dodge Lancer hubcaps with cones, dummy spotlights, dummy Lake pipes on the sides and red and blue neon lights under the car. The door handles have been shaved and celluloid buttons installed under the car and under the dash to open the doors. There is also a celluloid button under the car at the trunk to open it. The bumpers are in great condition. All the glass is perfect and tinted with all new weather stripping. The windows work great. The engine is a very strong 389 cubic inch Pontiac with trip over and runs great. The clutch is strong. There's lots of chrome under the hood. It has power steering, a chrome alternator and cast iron headers. The car also has air shocks in the rear with a 12V compressor built in. The floors and trunk are great. The original jack, tire tool and original "Firestone" 8.00x14 spare tire are in the trunk. There is a built-in trunk light with 25' of cord to walk around the car. All the interior and exterior lights work. The tires have over half the tread left. The car has Cherry Bomb mufflers on it and sounds like a big strong bear. It has all the original paperwork. The car came out of Hanover, PA. It must have been garaged all its life - it's just too clean not to have been. I have kept her in the garage since I bought her. I'm 70 years old and just can't afford to keep it. That's just the way life is - you finally get what you wanted as a young fella and can't afford to keep it. The interior is a completely rolled and pleated white with maroon vinyl. Whoever did it did a great job. The door panels match. The package tray and headliner is white. The dash has a white pleated pad on it. It has an original factory AM-FM radio that works perfectly. It has a stereo car cassette that works. Best of all, it has a RCA Victor 45 RPM record player - this sell for thousands by themselves. I have tested it to see if it works - I don't have a 45 record. There is also a GM Kleenex tray, new red carpet with red mats and a set of white mats for show. The oil, temperature and alternator gauges work. It has a working Moon Tach. The steering wheel is stock and perfect. It isn't a show car or a $35000.00 car. But, it's a great driver and local show car ready to go anywhere your heart desires. Every time I go over the car, I find something new. I can't say enough about this old girl. The original owner named her "BIG IRON" as evidenced by the paperwork, so I kept the name and tagged her accordingly. I know this is a lot of information and probably missed some. Please feel free to call me - Billy Kirkpatrick -228-219-9025- if you have any questions. I love talking about her and will answer any questions you have. I'll help in shipping anyway I can.
