Vehicle Detail
This car is a 1995 Eagle Summit that was built by Mitsubishi. Mitsubishi called it an "Expo". Mitsubishi also sold these cars to Dodge and Dodge called them a "Vista". I have had this car for several years and have recently purchased another car. This Summit was going to be my daughter’s cars when she turned 16. I basically had this car ready to last us another 4 or 5 years when I found a deal on another car that I couldn’t turn down. Now I need to sell my Summit. I would rate the appearance as average or a little better and the mechanics as above average. The seats are super clean and this is a non-smoking car. This car has always been in a temperature controlled garage. It was my everyday work car and I have never had it fail in any way until I had to replaced the distributor and plug wires last week,($239.00). I also had a new catalitic converter put in 2 weeks ago,($218.00). For it’s size, this car has more space than anything that I’ve ever owned. I had new rotors (not turned, but NEW) and pads put on last fall,($235.00). There are 128,000 miles on this car and the Summits are usually good for 200 to 250,000 miles. You should be able to get at least 6 more good years out it. Summits have a 2.4 four cylinder engine and gets around 25 to 30 miles to the gallon. This car actually has pretty good power for a four cylinder which is why it only gets 25 to 30 miles to a gallon. It is the "SLX" model and I think it has about every option that was offered by Mitsubishi, Power Steering, Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Splash Guards, Electric door locks, Rear wiper and defroster, Fold down rear seats. It also has the stereo upgraded to an Alpine which has the removable face plate,($249.00). I put new tires on it 2500 miles ago,($397.00). You won’t need tires for the next 5 or 6 years. The oil was just changed in November. This car has never been wrecked and has absolutely no strange handling habits. I know it’s hard to find nice used cars but I feel confident that this car will make someone a nice car for far less than the book value. These summits book for approx. $3,000 but I’m starting the auction low with no reserve, It will be sold to the highest bidder. Who ever ends up with this car will get a nice car for a good price. I’m starting the bidding low so I can at least get the cost of the Alpine stereo, Distributor, Catalitic converter, brakes and tires back,(over $1300.00). The title fee and tax will be the buyers responsibility. A $50 nonrefundable deposit due within 48 hours of auction close to cover listing fees. Please come look at it or call with any questions. I am in Urbana, Ohio. Thanks, Don (937)408-9323 (cell) ADITTIONAL INFORMATION ADDED: I just took a good look at the pictures that I took yesterday. In the 2 pictures of the engine bay it appears that the engine area is a green color. I don't know if the lighting and flash combination caused that or what. I just now went out to the garage and looked under the hood. To the human eye it looks to be about the same shade of blue as the rest of the car. The really strange thing is that if you look at the picture, the fenders look blue. Maybe there is a clear coat on body and not under the hood causing a reflection. I bought this car from a friend and I know this car has never been repainted. Anyhow.....rest assured that it's the strange lighting that makes it look odd. Also, I forgot to tell you that if for any reason you change your mind I can re-list it and your only out the fifty dollars to cover the listing.
