Hello. I am selling my dad's 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible for him. This car is in great condition, and very fast. This car turns heads and gets the thumbs up when you drive it. This car has the very powerful 390 engine with a 2 barrel carb.The convertible top, and the whole interior is in great condition, the engine has recently been tuned up and transmission rings replaced,so it runs great and shifts smooth. It has an older restoration, and the 390 and tranny were put in new then. No more than 26,000 miles on either. This car was originally a 6 cylinder, but was upgraded and done right when restored. The paint is in good condition with a straight rust free body. All the gauges work, and it still has the original working radio in it. The car also comes with the convertible boot cover. My dad has had this car about 5 years now,and it has always been garaged and usually covered. The only 2 negatives on this car are the convertible top is sluggish going up and down, and the bumpers could use rechroming. Last I checked the convertible top motor was $150 and rechroming would be about $400 most re-chroming places will charge more than that, but if you want it done for that price, you can just add $400 to the ending price. These are really easy and cheap fixes when you look at the asking price compared to the NADA value. Plus, I am also just telling you what the car would need to be a "show car" This car is in great driver condition if left as is. Please only bid if you are planning on buying this car.
